Falcon Tenders, the British specialist builder of fully-custom superyacht tenders for the discerning yacht owner, is happy to announce it has secured new financial investment from British consortium, the LNT Group.
The multi-million pound investment from the LNT Group, a fast growing group of companies owned by serial entrepreneur and former champion race car driver, Dr Lawrence Tomlinson, will enable Falcon Tenders to accelerate the delivery of its current business strategy in the period ahead.
The Yorkshire-based LNT Group encompasses five core businesses across a range of diverse sectors, including care homes, chemicals and car manufacturing.
“It’s really exciting to be able to welcome a new investor into the Falcon family, especially one who shares our enthusiasm for speed, craftsmanship and beautiful design,” says Mark Pascoe, founder of Falcon Tenders. “Lawrence Tomlinson is a visionary entrepreneur who supports our long-term strategy to steadily grow the business. The funding will secure us new premises with all the technology and equipment that is needed, and we have already activated an aggressive recruitment drive to push ahead with our existing and future orders.”
Southampton-based Falcon Tenders opened its doors in March 2021 headed up by Mark Pascoe and Dean Stoneman, both legacy names in boatbuilding and powerboat racing. International racing driver Stoneman is a former F2 Champion and F1 test driver, as well as a former P1 Powerboat Champion. Former Class-1 offshore racer Pascoe ran various race teams, including the official Lamborghini team, and raced alongside Steve Curtis, MBE (eight time offshore powerboat racing World Champion) and Richard Carr. He brings decades of boatbuilding expertise to Falcon and heads up the company’s highly skilled workforce with a combined experience of 150 years in traditional shipbuilding.
